SWOOP AIRLINES | 2023
What if the warmest hoodie wasn't about the fabric, but where it could take you?
Swoop introduced Swoopwear with a limited-edition hoodie that turned an everyday fashion essential into something unexpected: an affordable escape from the Canadian winter.
Priced at just $99, each hoodie included a $500 flight voucher toward a sunny getaway. Only 100 were available, transforming an ordinary apparel launch into a memorable demonstration of Swoop's ultra-low-cost travel proposition.
01 / THE CHALLENGE
Making affordable travel feel irresistible.
For many young Canadians, a winter beach vacation felt financially out of reach. Traditional airfare advertising often focused on destinations and prices, but Swoop needed a more compelling way to demonstrate that getting away didn't have to cost a fortune.
The challenge was to reach a younger, value-conscious audience with something culturally relevant, attention-grabbing and unmistakably Swoop.
02 / THE BIG IDEA
Forget the fabric. It's where the hoodie takes you.
Rather than creating another conventional airfare promotion, Swoop entered the world of fashion. The Warmest Hoodie Ever was a simple hoodie with an extraordinary feature: it included a flight voucher that could help take its owner somewhere warm.
The campaign launched Swoopwear, a playful new apparel concept that made the airline's affordability message tangible. We brought the idea to life through fashion-inspired creative, a limited-edition product drop and a runway show staged on an actual airport runway.
A familiar winter wardrobe essential became both a conversation starter and a compelling reason to consider a sunny escape.
